Changing the initial settings

The initiai settings (factory settings) can be

changed. For example, the audio sound­

track language can be changed to French

by

changing

the

setting

at

“1

Disc

Languages”,

(The settings will be retained in the memo­

ry, until the settings are changed, even

after switching to standby mode.)

DVD-L50A:

Press

MEMO or SETUP in the

stop mode.

DVD-L50PM:

Press MENU or ACTSON In the

stop mode.

(The initial settings screen is dis­
played.)

Exit the initial settings.

To return to the previous menu

Press RETURN.

To finish the initial settings

Press MENU or SETUP at the initial

settings screen illustrated in step 1.

DVD-L50PM:

Press MENU or ACTION at the initial

settings screen illustrated in step 1.

Notes:

«There are no No. 7 and 8 in the initial

settings menu of this player.

• it is not possible to select the item of the

initiai settings using the NUMBER button.

Select the item using the joystick/cursor

buttons.

•When the MENU button is pressed dur­

ing play, the disc menu will be displayed

and if pressed in the stop mode, the ini­

tial settings screen will be displayed.

This is to select the audio soundtrack lan­

guage, subtitle language and the language
used in title menus or DVD menus which

will always be used for every disc to be

played back. (If the language selected is
not available on the disc, the language

designated by each disc will be selected.)
