This is to disable play of DVDs unsuitable
for some audiences. Some discs may not
be encoded with specific rating level infor
mation though its disc jacket says that it is
for “adults”. For those discs, the age re
striction will not work. It is possible to pro
hibit playback of ail DVDs.
