Storing Your Area Code

We recommend that you program your area code first before using the
Caller ID feature (p. 34). Incoming calls from the same area code will then
be recorded in the Caller List without the area code. You do not have to

remove the area code before calling back or storing. When incoming calls

from a different area code are received, “1” will automatically be added

before the area code.

The TALK indicator light must be off before programming.

-j Press IPROGRAMI.

« The TALK indicator flashes.

p Press SEARCH 0

?” is displayed.

2 Press SEARCH 0

o The current setting is displayed.

If no area code has been programmed,

“—” will be displayed.

« If you enter a wrong number, press

ICLEARl. and enter the correct number.

o A beep sounds.
o The handset will return to the stand-by
