Advanced operations
Clearing the program
When the program play screen is displayed
•To clear the programmed items one by one
Select the item, move to “Clear” with the cursor buttons [A, T, ◄,
► I and press (ENTER]. (Selecting the item, then pressing [CAN
CEL] also clears the programmed item.)
•To clear the whole program
Move to "Clear all” with the cursor buttons [A, ▼,
►] and press
[ENTER], (The program is also cleared when the unit is switched to
the standby mode or turned off.)
Random play
ESk
The unit plays the tracks on all the Video CDs and CDs in random
order.

Press [PLAY MODE] while stopped
until the illustrated screen appears.

Press [► PLAY].
Play now begins in random order.

•This function skips empty disc trays.
• If the disc is a Video CD with playback control, menu play is auto
matically canceled during random play.
• You cannot start play by pressing (DISC 1-5] while in the random
mode.

To exit the screen
Press [PLAY MODE] once.
To return to normal play
1. Press [■ STOP] twice during random play.
(Random play is suspended.)
2. Press [PLAY MODE] once.
3. Press [► PLAY],
