2.34. Remove the PTO clutch from the PTO input
shaft.
3. HYDROSTATIC REMOVAL
NOTE: The series 5000 uses a BDU 21L
Hydrogear pump to power the transmission.
3.1. Remove the fender, floor and ROPS.
3.2. Remove the four screws securing the front seat
mounting bracket to the frame using a 1/2”
socket.

3.3. Remove the two screws and washers securing
the front seat mounting bracket to the gas tanks
using a 1/2” socket.
3.4. Raise front axle and safely secure with jack
stands. This will minimize the amount of hydrau-
lic fluid in the pump.
3.5. Remove the spring from the ferrule on the drive
control rod.
3.6. Remove the hairpin from the ferrule on the drive
rod.
