6 Using the device
6.1 Preparing a comminution
6.1.1 Opening the cutting mill
1. Switch the control switch (19) on the back of the device to AUTO.
2. Unlock the latch clamp (13).
3. Open the closing lid (6). It is possible to lift the closing lid (6) out of
the hinge after opening. However this is only necessary, for
example, for cleaning.
4. Make sure that the closing lid (6) is fully open!
Slowly swivel open the upper part of the housing (2) until it is
resting on the rubber buffer.
