Setting Up the Classification and Separation Instance of
Recognition
The following section will describe how to set up the classification and separation
instance of Recognition.
Registering the Additional Instance
The following steps will guide you through registering an additional instance of
Recognition to be used for classification and separation.

To register the Classification and Separation instance of Recognition

Click Start on the taskbar to display the menu, and select All Programs |
Kofax Capture 8.0 | Administration.

Select Tools | Custom Module Manager... to open the Custom Module
Manager window.

Click Add to open the file selection window and select the following file:
<Installation Path>\binnt\INDICIUS Sample Custom Instance.aex
A Custom Modules window is displayed listing the available modules.

Select “Classification and Separation” and click Install.
When registration is complete a window will display.

Click OK.
The Classification and Separation instance is now displayed in the Custom
Module Manager window.

Click Close on the Custom Modules window
Creating a Shortcut for the Additional Instance
To open an additional instance of Recognition as a dedicated application, you must
specify command line parameters on a shortcut.

Click Start on the taskbar to display the menu, and select:
All Programs | INDICIUS.
