Select the amount of messages you would like to be displayed in the main window. You can also direct all
window output to a file named
DOKuStarValidation.log . This file resides in the
…\Local\ DOKuStarValidation…
subdirectory of the Ascent Capture installation. The name of the subdirectory correspond to the installed
DOKuStar Validation station.
The log file is mainly for error tracking, so you normally choose the default setting Errors only . On
every start of DOKuStar Validation it will be generated newly. The contents of the previous session will get
lost.
The option Save intermediate XML work files will store the input and the output that DOKuStar
Validation receives from and transmits to Ascent Capture as XML files. These files will be stored in the
Image directory of your Ascent Capture installation. The files are named BatchIn_..., BatchOut_...
and SetupIn_… , complemented by the corresponding DOKuStar Validation station. This option is for
debugging purposes only and should be switched off normally.
The option Start Runtime Information System starts the trace program IdsInfo . This program is
also intended for debugging purposes and should only be started in administration mode.
