View Windows
The View Windows , considered together, will give you a good survey about the actual batch and of the
currently processed form. The different windows will be described in the next sections.
Project Explorer
This window shows all forms of the currently processed batch class in a tree representation. The pages are
represented by sub-nodes showing the image file name. When a batch is loaded, you will see all forms
according to the batch in this view.
To navigate in this window use the commands of the Navigate menu or the respective buttons of the
Navigation Toolbar .
By using the context menu (select a form type and right mouse click) you will be able to perform the
following actions:
→ rename the form type (Change to) to another type of the current batch,
→ join the form type of the preceding type,
→ insert a form type,
→ reject a form type,
→ unreject a rejected form type,
→ delete a form type,
→ delete a page,
→ reject a page,
→ unreject a rejected page.
If an object is rejected, a reason for rejecting can be specified. To be able to recognize rejected objects, the
object name (form type, or page respectively) is displayed in red color.
Single pages can also be moved by "Drag & Drop" to another form type.
Note: If a form type is renamed, all index field values belonging to it will be lost.
Image Window
The Image Window shows the currently processed page of a form type. The image can be zoomed or
adjusted to the window using the respective buttons of the toolbar.
For a good survey, the currently processed index field will be highlighted by a different color, provided that
the index field isn't empty. In the case of table fields, all table fields are highlighted. The currently processed
table element is marked in a different color.
Field Source Window
The Field Source Window shows the region of interest (snippet) of the current page in an enlarged
representation, adapted to the size of the Field Source Window .
The displayed snippet will be the image of the index field, or table field element respectively, that is
highlighted in the
Image Window .
For index fields the command Extended Field Source of the View menu allows to extend the shown
snippet in all directions. If this function is enabled the displayed snippet will be highlighted.
