Installing
DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture has to be installed on the same computer than Ascent Capture.
Installing of DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture requires Ascent Capture V5.0 or later and at least 100
MB of free memory.
To install DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture, place the CD into the CD-ROM drive of your
computer. If the CD-ROM drive has AutoPlay enabled installation will start automatically. If installation
doesn't start automatically, start the program
Setup.exe in the root directory of the CD.
Before the custom module for Ascent Capture can be installed you must install the base product DOKuStar
Validation: press the button
Install Validation and follow the instructions of the installation program.
After DOKuStar Validation has been installed successfully, press the button Install Custom Module
for Ascent Capture .
After choosing the language for the setup and confirming of the welcome screen, you have to decide if you
want to install single or multi-grade validation, inquired by the message box:

If you reply No , one user controlled DOKuStar Validation station will be installed. Otherwise (you reply
Yes ), the Select Validation Stations dialog box appears. It allows to specify how much and what
kind of validation should be installed:
