Expanding your system
The 6E Smart Remote Plus devices operate on any of 8 user-settable channels. The channels are
easy to set/adjust-with the simple turn of a knob. Setup your GE SmartHome™ by purchasing as
many transmitters and receivers as you need. The following ta ble is just one example of how you

Operating Instructions
FOR INDOOR USE ONLY
1. Plug the Range Extender into a powered, grounded 125VAC outlet located halfway between the
transmitters and receivers.

2. The unitwill receive and retransmit signals from transmitters operating on any one of the 8 CHANNELS
and 4 HOUSE CODES (32 combinations). There is no need to set the CHANNEL or HOUSE CODE on
your Range Extender as it is designed to retransmit all 32 combinations automatically.
3. Using any ofthe transmitters, test the installation by using the ON and OFF buttons. An indicator
on the Range Extender lights RED when a signal is received and retransmitted.
4. Use the convenient 'ALWAYS ON' outlet for any lamp or appliance as needed.
