Adjusting Basic Camera Functions

Change the display language as needed.

Access the [Language] screen.

Choose [Language

], and then press the

m button.

Configure the setting.

Press the

opqr buttons to choose a

language, and then press the

m button.

The following settings can also be adjusted on the

3 tab.

[GPS Settings] (p. 47)

[Time Update] (p. 52)

[Video System] (p. 171)

[Ctrl via HDMI] (p. 169)

[Eye-Fi Settings] (p. 190)

If you accidentally change a setting, you can restore default camera settings.

Access the [Reset All] screen.

Choose [Reset All], and then press the

m button.

Restore default settings.

Press the

qr buttons to choose [OK], and

then press the

m button.

Default settings are now restored.

Display Language

You can also access the [Language] screen in Playback mode by pressing and
holding the

m button and immediately pressing the n button.

Adjusting Other Settings

Restoring Defaults

The following functions are not restored to default settings.

[Date/Time] (p. 21) on the

3 tab, [Language

] (p. 22), sounds registered in

[Sound Options] (p. 155), image registered in [Start-up Image] (p. 156), [Time
Zone] (p. 160), and [Video System] (p. 171)

Custom white balance data you have recorded (p. 105)

Colors chosen in Color Accent (p. 87) or Color Swap (p. 88)

The shooting mode (p. 77)

Logged location information and shooting date and time (p. 48)
