Limiter (AVL) allows you to preset
a desired volume level that the TV
sound will not go above. This
m akes for an even, more consisteht
sound by reducing the peaks'' and
valleys" that can occur during
program changes or comm ercial
Select the AVL control.
With the SOUND Menu (2 of 3)
on the screen, move the REp
highlight with the MENU
buttons. Then press the MENU (M)
button to select the highlighted
AVL control.
<|> Press the MENU ▲ or T and
then the MENU (M) button to turn
the AVL control ON (or OFF).
Press the STATUS button to
clear the screen when completed.
Remember, ^
AVL works for
sound levels coming
from either the
Antenna/Cable input
on the rear of the TV
(RF audio); or the
Auxiliary
(VCR/AUX IN)
audio inputs.

Press the SMART button on

screen, move the RED highlight
with the MENU 4 b u t t o n s . Then
press the MENU (M) button to
select the highlighted Smart Sound
control.
Press the MENU A or ▼ to
move the RED highlight between
the various TV sound settings (For
example: Music Theater, Voice, or
Normal.) Then press the MENU
(M) button to select {i/^) the
desired Smart Sound mode.
Press the STATUS button to
clear the screen when completed.

VOICE - provides better high range frequency
sound which is more suitable for interview
programs, news or talk show program content.

dynamic sound programming. Audio sound
output is heightened to simulate the experience
of being at the cinema or theater.
