Follow these steps to set the rating level for your DVDs. DVDs

whose ratings exceed the level you set will not play.

^ Press DVD to put the DVD/VCR in DVD mode.The DVD

J light will appear on the front of the DVD/VCR. Press
^ STOP ■ to stop Disc playback if necessary.

^ Press SYSTEM/MENU.

After making your selection, the previous menu will appear.
The level you selected will appear beside PARENTAL

LEVEL.

Press SYSTEM/MENU to remove the menu.

Helpful Hints

When you try to play a DVD whose

rating exceeds the level you set, an
on-screen message will indicate the
DVD cannot play. Remove the DVD,
then set PARENTAL LEVEL to ALL
Reload the DVD and begin play­
back. Some DVDs may let you enter

your four-digit password to begin
playback. Follow the on-screen mes­
sages as prompted.

You cannot use the default password

(4737) to play a DVD.
