This phone number or email address is used to authenticate your account should you ever
encounter problems or forget your password. It is strongly encouraged for Android users so you can
regain access to Google services and purchases on your phone.
7. Set Google services options and then touch .
8. On the Finish account screen, touch I accept to continue.
9. Enter the characters shown, and then touch .
10. Touch Get started to upgrade Google+ and follow the onscreen prompts to continue. You can
also touch Not now.
11. Enter your credit card information if needed for purchasing apps, games, movies, and books in
the Google Play Store app from your phone. You can also touch NOT NOW.
12. After your phone connects with the Google servers, select the items you would like to sync with
your phone and then touch . Your phone will synchronize the selected items.
Sign In to Your Google Account
If you have a Google Account but have not yet signed in with your phone, follow these instructions to
sign in to your Google Account.
1. From the home screen, touch > Settings > Add account.
2. Touch Google, and then touch Existing.
3. Enter your Gmail username and password, and then touch .
4. Touch OK to agree to the terms of services and the privacy notice and proceed.
5. Set Google service options and then touch .
6. If prompted, enter your credit or debit card information for purchasing apps, games, movies,
and books in the Google Play Store app from your phone. You can also touch SKIP.
7. After your phone connects with the Google servers, select the items you would like to sync with
your phone and then touch . Your phone will synchronize the selected items.
