4.2.2 Restoring Calibration

The calibration coefficients can be entered directly through the

keyboard to restore lost calibration. These values will restore calibration
for a specific load cell or scale base. If one or more load cells are replaced,
a full calibration will need to be performed. The calibration values can be
retrieved, or restored in the following manner.

Press ‘SHIFT’ followed by ‘G’ (F7). The Alphanumeric LCD

will prompt to ‘RESTORE CAL?’.

a.

Choose ‘YES’ if restoring calibration. The user is prompted
for the scale number in multiple scale systems. Choose the
desired scale number, and enter the values as prompted.

b. Choose ‘NO’ if not restoring calibration.
c. The XC880A will return to the weighing mode if no key is

pressed within 5 seconds.

2. If ‘NO’ was chosen in step 1, the XC880A prompts to ‘GET

CAL VALS?’. Choose ‘YES’ to view the DL and FS values.
Then press ENTER to view the Gain setting. It’s recommended
that these be recorded on the chart below for future use.
