7.1.2 Computer Output
The XC880A will output data in computer format on selected port.
This option will output a single line of ASCII text, continuously, or on-
demand, in the following fixed format.
Table 7.1.2 Computer Output Data Format
This format will contain the following data.
STX
ASCII Start of Text (02)
Mode ‘G’ if Gross weight
‘N’ if Net weight
Tare Current tare weight.
Grs Current gross weight in ASCII format
Apw Current piece weight in ASCII format.
Mot. ‘M’ if Motion present on scale
ASCII Space if scale is stable
Unit The current unit of weight in ASCII format
(‘l’, ‘k’, ‘g’, ‘o’).
Scale The currently selected scale no.
CR Carriage return.
7.1.3 Scoreboard Output
The XC880A may be set up to output the displayed weight, or
quantity, continuously on selected port. This is simply a string of data
containing the displayed weight (Net or Gross), or the current quantity,
followed by a carriage return (CR) and line feed (LF).
