10. Options
The following section will describe the options available with the XC880A. These
include hardware options as well as custom programming to perform special functions.

FILE / OPEN ENTER Prompts for part number, searches for, and opens file if found.
FILE / ADD SHIFT – A Add records to memory
FILE / DELETE SHIFT – D Delete a specific file, or all files from memory.
FILE / EDIT SHIFT – E Edit a specific file in memory
FILE / REVIEW SHIFT – R Review file data in memory
FILE / CLR TTL SHIFT – C Clear accumulated Qty from currently open file.
FILE / VIEW TTL SHIFT – 9 Displays accumulated Qty of open file while held down.
FILE / INFO P
Displays part number and description of open file while held
down.
FILE / MEM USE SHIFT – M
Displays number of Transaction and Inventory files in memory
while held down.
FILE / REPORT SHIFT – PRINT Allows output of Inv. or Trans. file to selected communication port

Add or subtract the current Qty to the open files accumulated Qty.

Changes weight mode to display gross or net weights.
UNITS / CHANGE SHIFT – 6 Change display units (LB, KG, GR, OZ).
BEEPER SHIFT – B Toggles audible beeper ON/OFF.
SYSTEM BOOT SHIFT – 0 Reboot scale. Resets the system.
SETPOINTS SHIFT – 3 Activate/configure setpoints.
CONFIGURE SHIFT – 2 Loads or saves configuration settings.
TIME-DATE / SET SHIFT – DP (.) Adjust/set time and date.
COMM SETUP SHIFT – F Configure serial ports
EXT SWITCH SETUP 1 – PARM Program external switch inputs
CALIBRATION / SETUP 2 – PARM Configure / calibrate scale inputs
DIGITAL FILTER 3 – PARM Set the digital filter value.
AVERAGING 4 – PARM Set the digital averaging value.
MOTION BAND 5 – PARM Set the motion band.
ZERO TRACKING 7 – PARM Activate/deactivate zero tracking.
KEY LOCK 8 – PARM Activate the keyboard lock out.
FAST STEPPING 9 – PARM Activate/deactivate fast stepping.
ZERO RESTORE SHIFT – ZERO Restores previous zero value.
PB TARE SHIFT – TARE Tares the currently loaded weight.
PASSWORD SHIFT - P Change or clear the user password.
RESET SERIAL NO. SHIFT – S Disable or reset the label sequence number to 1.
SHIPPING LABEL DATA SHIFT – L
Set Ship To: and From: fields, and data prompting on shipping
labels.
AUTO SCALE SELECT SHIFT – C Enable/Set automatic scale switching parameters.
