JSDV‐100 Remote Volume Control
The JSDV‐100 remote volume control can be installed in an auditorium or other location. It is wired to the JSD‐100
USL Link using CAT‐5 cable with an RJ 25 connector on each end. The JSDV‐100 includes a two digit seven segment
display that shows the current output level. It also includes a fader control knob that can be used to adjust the
main fader level. After making an adjustment, the JSDV‐100 display blanks in the number of seconds specified
under the global tab (as described above) unless the timeout is set to zero seconds. In that case, the display is lit
continuously.
When the JSDV‐100 is first connected or the JSD‐100 is powered up, the JSD‐100 “discovers” the JSDV‐100 units on
the USL Link. Each JSD‐100 supports up to 256 JSDV‐100 units on its USL Link. As the devices are discovered, their
discovery is logged. Adjustments to the main fader level by a JSDV‐100 are also logged, including which JSDV‐100
made the adjustment.
