• Blind Hemming
There are two blind hem stitches on your machine. The reguiar blind hem is used tor woven fabrics. The stretch blind hem is
wider and wilt "give" and is used for knit and stretch fabrics.
1. Finish the raw edge oi your hem any way you desire. {See Overcasting, p. S3 )
2. Measure, turn up your hem and pm.
NOTE; For lightweight fabrics, you may need a double told.
3. Foid the material '{wrong side out) on the edge to be stitched, as shown, leaving 1/4" of the finished hem edge showing,
4. Place garment under pressertoot in such a manner that straight stitches will be sewn on extended edge. The zigzag stitch
should just catch the told of the garment.
5. After hemming, press both sides of the finished hem. The top side of the garment will show only the blind stitches.

Ourlets invisibles
Votre machine permet d’exécuter deux types différents de points d’ourlets invisibles. Le point d'ourlet invisible ordinaire est
utilisé pour les tissés et celui d'ourlet invisible extensible, pour tes jerseys et les tissus extensibles, car il est a la fois élastique
et plus large.
1. Piquez le bord non fini selon le goût personnel (Voyez le point de surfilage a la page 53.)
2. Mesurez, pliez l’ourlet par le dessus et épinglez-
REMARQUE: Un pii double est parfois requis pour les ftssus minces.
3. Son envers tourné vers le haut, pliez le tissu contre le bord a coudre, comme montré, en vous assurant de laisser dépasser
de 114” du bord que vous avez fini précédemment.
4. Glissez le vêtement sous le pied-de-biche, de manière que des points droits soient piqués dans le bord qui dépasse.
5. Une fois l'ourlet terminé, repassez l'envers et l’endroit de celm-ci. Seule la trace des fils au sommet des points apparaît
sur rendrait du vêtement.
