TURNING A SQUARE
CORNER
To pivit at a square corner 1.5
cm (5/8") from the fabric
edge, stop stitching with the
needle tip in the fabric when
reaching the end of the
needle
plate
as
shown.
Raise the presser foot and
turn the fabric. New stitch line
will align with 5/8" seam guide
on the side of the needle
plate. Lower the presser foot
and begin stitching in a new
direction.

in from the edge.
Lower the presser foot.

To reinforce the seam, push
the reverse sewing button
and sew backward to the
edae of the fabric.
