OVERCASTING
For light-weight fabric:
Set the machine as shown.
Overcasting prevents the
edge of the fabric from fraying
and produces a clean finish.
Place the seam allowance
under the presser foot with
the edge of the seam in line
with the side of the presser
foot as illustrated.
Stitch along the edge.
