Removing Bobbin Case
REMOVING THE BOBBIN CASE
1. Turn hand wheel toward you to raise take-
up lever to Its highest position,
2. Open slide plate, remove throat plate {see
page 6 for instructions), and remove bobbin.

into Hook Channel
Push Position
3. Lift the position bracket and slide it to the
right.
4. Remove bobbin case by tv^isting case as
shown, and lifting it out.
REPLACING THE BOBBIN CASE
1.
Turn
hand
wheel
to
raise
take-up
lever
to
its highest point.
2.
Replace
bobbin
case
so
that
groove
under
tension
spring
fits
on
hook
raceway
and
fork
of
case
straddles
positioning
stud
under feed dog.
3. Twist bobbin case to left.
4.
Push
position
bracket
to
left
until
it
snaps
down, locking bobbin case in place.
5.
Replace
bobbin
and
throat
plate;
close
slide
plate.
