Changing the Needle
The
accessories
that
come
with
your
sewing
machine
are
designed
to
help
you
do
many
kinds of sewing easily and perfectly.

Changing the Needle
The
needle
clamp
has
been
designed
so
that
the
needle
can
only
be
inserted
with
the
flat
side of the shank toward the back.
1.
Raise
needle
bar
to
its
highest
position,
loosen
needle-clamp
screw,
and
remove
needle.
2.
Insert
new
needle
in
clamp,
with
the
flat
side
of
the
needle
to
the
back,
and
push
it up as far as it will go.
3. Tighten needle-clamp screw.
3. TENSION SCREWDRIVER
Designed
to
fit
the
bobbin
case
tension
screw,
this
screwdriver
makes
adjustment
of
bobbin-
thread
tension
quick
and
easy.
