3-7. How to Adjust Stitch Length

The machine is pre-set to a 2.5mm stitch length

for regular seaming and overedging. You may

adjust the stitch length from 1mm (Narrow rolled
hemming) to 5mm by one-touch of the stitch length

adjustment lever.

For normal overedging set the stitch length

from 2.5mm to 5mm. A stitch length less than
2.5mm is used only for rolled hemming.

3-8. Sewing for Curved Seams

For a neat and clean finish of curved seams;
For inside curves, guide the fabric gently with

the trimming line of the fabric under the right
front of the presser foot, applying pressure to

the fabric with your left hand, at the same time,

apply a little pressure in the opposite direction
with your right hand as shown.

For outside curves, apply pressure in the opposite
directions of the above.
