B. MAIN ATR BLOWFR/HEAT RECLAIMER SYSTEM
The fan which moves the exhaust air through the AD-400 dryer is an 18-inch diameter, backwardly
inclined, steel PLR wheel that is driven at 3,450 rpm by a 25 hp motor. This fan moves a maximum of
9,000 cfm of air through the dryer.
The dryer is equipped with a pneumatically operated heat reclaimer damper, which when opened, will
recirculate approximately 50 percent of the dryer's exhaust air.
