LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1 Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.
The OPE/BATT indicator iights.
2 Set the BAND switch to select a band.
3 Turn the TUNING control to tune in to a station.
After iistening
Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER 0 STANDBY/TAPE.
For better reception 4 Q
FM
Extend the FM antenna and place it in the position that sounds best.
AM
Turn the unit to find the position which gives the best reception.
When an FM stereo broadcast is received
The FM STEREO indicator iights up.
When the FM stereo broadcast contains noise
Press the FM MODE/OSC button to turn off the FM STEREO indicator.
Noise is reduced, although reception is monaurai.
To restore stereo reception, press the button again.
