TROUBLESHOOTING

What seems to be a malfunction is not always so. In case of trouble, first check the list of common problems in the
following table. Equipmentconnected to the unit can also cause problems, therefore it is necessary to check all this
equipment as well. If the problem is not resolved after performing the recommended steps above, please contact

your dealer.

Note on the input signal

The image may not properly display if any of the following types of signals are input.

• VCR signal obtained after repeated dubbing (copies).

• VCR or DVD signal containing copy guard signals.

• Signals other than the V IN standard signal.

Notes on the input image

1. Colored letters (characters) or letters with a colored

background may become hard to read due to the

blurring of colors. (Therefore it is recommended

that these letters (characters)and backgrounds not

be used.

2. Horizontal linesconsistingoffiner lines may become

hard to view due to flickering.

Note on genlockinq

This unit does not incorporatethe genlocking function.

This means that the output signals from this unit are

not synchronized with the signals input to this unit.
