2.6 Remote Power-ON/OFF Functionality

Optional functionality of the PCI express

®

extension system

includes remote power-on/off via the ADLINK BP-8014 backplane.

Once the BP-8014 is properly connected, configured, and
enabled, users may remotely power-on/off the extension chassis
via a host PC.

The following table lists the connectors that enable remote power-
on/off functionality.

Please refer to sections 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 for

detailed layout, connectors and jumpers.
