DB-62P COM Port and Digital I/O Connector
The MXE-5300 features 4 COM ports and 4-CH isolated digital
input and 4channel isolated digital output through a DB-62P con-
nector on the back panel. Also provided is a cable connect to DB-
62P connector to extend four D-SUB 9-pin connectors and one
25-pin digital I/O connector. The COM1 and COM2 ports selec-
tively support RS-232/ RS-422/ RS-485 mode by BIOS setting,
and RS-422/RS-485 mode also provides an optional choice of iso-
lated 1.4 kV capability.
The residual COM3 and COM4 ports support RS-232 function
only.
