Intel® Active Management Technology
Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) is hard-
ware-based technology for remotely managing and securing PCs
out-of-band. Intel® AMT includes hardware-based remote man-
agement, security, power-management, and remote-configuration
features. Intel® AMT allows remote access to a system when tra-
ditional techniques and methods are not available.
