Managing EDFA Test Results
2. Select a row from the Results tab to view the channel results for the
selected channel.
3. Under Results pane, you can view the following results:

Channel name: indicates the channel name as defined in the
channel list.

Channel Center (nm or THz): indicates the central
wavelength/frequency for the channel.

Input signal power (dBm): indicates the input signal power for
the selected channel (excludes noise).
³
Output signal power (dBm): indicates the output signal power for
the selected channel (excludes noise).
³
Gain: indicates the gain (Output Signal Power - Input Signal Power)
for the selected channel.
³
Gain - Avg. Gain: indicates the selected channel gain minus the
average of all channel gains.
