Specific commands-Quick Reference Command Tree
INPut:WAVElength
Description This command selects a specific calibrated wavelength. The
wavelength range depends on the type and configuration of the
FVA-3150.
Syntax
INP:WAVE<wsp><numeric_value>[<wsp><NM>]
Parameters The <numeric_value> parameter is the actual wavelength in
the format “9999.9 NM”. The units are optional.
Example
INP:WAVE 1310 NM
Note
This command cannot be issued while a program is running.
The INP:WAVE command is equivalent to the WVL command.
Both give the same result.
INPut:WAVElength?
Description This query returns a value indicating the currently selected
wavelength, the minimum available wavelength, or the
maximum available wavelength.
Syntax
INP:WAVE?[<wsp><min_or_max>]
Parameters The <min_or_max> parameter is optional and can be
“MIN” to request the minimum wavelength
“MAX” to request the maximum wavelength
Response
The wavelength in the format “9999.9”. The units are nm.
Example
INP:WAVE? MAX or
INP:WAVE?
Note
The INP:WAVE? command is equivalent to the WVL? command.
Both give the same result.
