Specific commands-Quick Reference Command Tree
WaVeLength
Description This command selects a specific calibrated wavelength. The
wavelength range depends on the type and configuration of the
FVA-3150.
Syntax
WVL<wsp><numeric>[<wsp><NM>]
Parameters The <numeric> parameter is the actual wavelength in the
format “9999.9[NM]”. The units are optional.
Example
WVL 1310 NM
Note
This command cannot be issued while a program is running.
The WVL command is equivalent to the INP:WAVE command.
Both give the same result.
WaVeLength?
Description This query returns a value indicating the currently selected
wavelength, the minimum available wavelength, or the
maximum available wavelength.
Syntax
WVL?[<wsp><min_or_max>]
Parameters The <min_or_max> parameter is optional and can be
“MIN” to request the minimum wavelength
“MAX” to request the maximum wavelength
Response
The wavelength in the format “9999.9”. The units are nm.
Example
WVL? MAX or
WVL?
Note
The WVL? command is equivalent to the INP:WAVE? command.
Both give the same result.
