Throwing Different Pitches

IMPORTANT: For the various balls shown below, position the machine

distance from Home Plate as follows:

• Loosen the Pitch-Selection Knob

and line up the arrow to the pitch

desired . Refer to the decal on the

machine (above the Pitch-Selection

Knob, shown at right) for pitch

abbreviations . Tighten the Pitch-

Selection Knob .

• Turn dial on control panel to chosen pitch .
EXAMPLE: Before throwing a left-handed curveball for baseball, the machine

and dials should be set as shown below .

RHCB — Right-Handed

Curveball

RHS — Right-Handed

Slider

FB — Fastball

LHS — Left-Handed

Slider

LHCB — Left-Handed

Curveball

NOTE: When throwing fastballs for baseball and softball, set Pitch-Selection

Knob to Fastball and Speed Dial from Minimum to Maximum, depending on

the skill level of the hitter .
