7. Click the
Browse...
button to browse to the following driver directory:
<ZDS Install>\debugtools\Z8F6481\samples\USB_UART
8. Click
Next
to install the driver. Depending on your computer settings, a Security dia-
log may appear; in this dialog, select
Install this driver software anyway
.
This step may take a few moments to complete.
9. After the Wizard finishes the installation, click
Close
.
10. Confirm that the driver was successfully installed by opening the
Device Manager
from the Windows Start Menu, then enter
Device Manager
in the
Search pro-
grams and files
field. Press Enter and locate the USB Serial Port (COMx), as indi-
cated in Figure 28.
