SAM1411 Installation
4.1 Overview
To install the SAM1411 into the AdvancedTCA system, follow these steps:
1. Unpack and inspect the board, see Unpacking and Inspecting the Board on page 41 .
2. Make sure environmental and power requirements are met, see Requirements on page 42 .
3. Install the blade, see Installing and Removing the Board on page 46 .
4.2 Unpacking and Inspecting the Board
Shipment Inspection
To inspect the shipment, perform the following steps:
1. Verify that you have received all items of your shipment:


Desiccant bag
Board Damage
Touching the board or electronic components in a non-ESD protected environment causes
component and board damage.
Before touching boards or electronic components, make sure that you are working in an
ESD-safe environment or wear ESD wrist straps.
