6.2 EMC – Electro magnetic compatibility
For proper protection against damage caused by electrostatic discharge, the top left mounting hole of
the EtherCAT piggyback controller board has to be connected to a massive panel or plate that is con-
nected with GND-Earth. The remaining three holes have to be used for mechanical fixation of the pig-
gyback controller board.
