6. Web Browser Operation
The Status and Control web
page provides real time status
of the inputs, outputs and
remote iPIO unit connections.
The top of the page indicates
the iPIO device the user is
connected to. This location ID
is settable.
Each input, output and remote
device is defined by a user
selectable name. Inputs and
outputs can also be assigned
names for Open and Closed
statuses, as well as
background and text colors for
each.
When logging in with
Administrator rights, the menu
bar below the header will be
displayed. This allows access to the Setup and Administration pages of the unit.
If the iPIO is programmed to communicate with remote units, each remote unit will be displayed in the left
column. Each remote site displays its name and status OK or Fail in green or red. The name is a hotlink to
the IP address of that remote device.
The status will automatically refresh approximately every 2 seconds.
