Remote Setup

To allow multiple Dataprobe
products to communicate and
control one another, each device
must be setup to communicate
with the devices that are remote
to it.

Adding a remote will allow the
inputs of this iPIO unit to control
the outputs of another iPIO unit,
or multiple units. Additional
Dataprobe products, like iBoot-G2
series power controller can also
be remotes that are controlled by
this iPIO. To achieve bi-directional
control between two iPIO units,
each must be programmed with
the other as a remote.

To add the first device, click on
Add Device. This will generate
the setup screen for the first
remote. To add additional
remotes, click on Add Device for
each one. Up to 32 remote units
can be programmed.
