possible food that was stuck or that blocked accessories or the walls of bowls, the blender
and the lid (see par. I. SAFETY WARNING). The food preparation (processing) times are
only approximate, they depend on the amount, the kind and the quality of used ingredients
and they range in seconds to minutes (see the table). Possible short-time mild smoke
when the appliance is operated for the first time is not a defect and the appliance is not
subject to a complaint for this reason.
Turning regulator (A1)
OFF position: the appliance is off.
ON position: the appliance is on.
MIN - MAX position: it enables setting the optimum revolutions for the selected work
adapter.
It is intended for blending, whipping, grating, preparing a mash, squeezing juices and very
fine chopping.
PULSE (A2) button
PULSE: the motor runs only when the button is pushed (maximum performance).
It is intended for cutting, blending and for normal to rough chopping. Push several times
until you get the required result.
ICE (A3) button
ICE: after pushing the button, the motor runs in regular cycles (off/on) until you stop the
appliance by pushing the button again. The ICE function is intended for crushing ice or
very hard ingredients (e.g. coffee beans, nuts).
Safety lock (A5)
– It prevents starting the appliance if bowl B is not properly mounted on drive unit A, lid D
and press G on bowl B and pusher F1 in filling hole D3.
– It switches off the appliance if the bowl, lid, press and pusher become unsecured.
Safety lock (A6)
– It prevents starting the appliance if blending bowl E is not properly mounted on drive unit
A.
– It switches off the appliance if the blending bowl becomes unsecured.

Mounting and removal of big bowl (B)
Mount the bowl on drive A7 so that it slides down, then secure it by turning it clockwise till
you hear a snapping sound (at the same time, the safety lock is unlocked). Pay special
attention to this operation. You can remove the bowl in the opposite direction.
ATTENTION
If the appliance is not working after turning the regulator to the ON position and
then to the required speed level or after pushing the PULSE or ICE button, but
control light A4 is on and the backlight of buttons A2 and A3 is flashing, it means
that the bowl, the lid, the big pusher or the citrus press are not mounted/closed
properly. Check mounting/closing of the bowl, lid, big pusher and of the citrus
press (safety locks have to be unlocked).
