General Information
The Model 12513-006 Valox
®
Door Replacement Kit services the following:
Model 256 Series, 257, and 258. Model 12513-001 services the Models 9081 and 9085.
N OTE : The Model 12513-001 Kit is NOT approved for use on telephones (256 Series, 257 and 258). Use
of this kit will violate UL 1459. If you ordered this kit for a telephone, please exchange it for kit Model
12513-006. This kit includes the following components:
Qty Description
1 Door
8 Stainless steel screw
8 ¼-inch washer
1 Left lift-off hinge
1 Right lift-off hinge
A ¼-inch Allen wrench is needed to install this kit.
Installation
1. Open the enclosure door to access the hinge screws.
2. Loosen and remove the two screws fastening the lower hinge on the mid-section of the enclosure, and
remove the hinge.
3. Lift up and remove the old door.
4. Loosen and remove the two screws securing the remaining hinge to the mid-section of the enclosure.
Remove and discard the hinge.
