HOW TO DRIVE

There are 3 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds. When changing gears, be sure to put the gear shift

lever securely into place (fig. 8).

When changing gears, if the gear shift lever is not put securely into place, the engine can come

out of gear, which is extremely dangerous. Also, when a gear is difficult to engage, donʼt force it;

instead, move the deadmanʼs control clutch lever a little and then put the gear securely into place.

Press down the deadmanʼs control clutch lever slowly to “Drive” mode, and then machine will start (fig. 9).

To adjust the speed, slowly move the throttle lever from low to high speed position (fig. 4).

To turn, pull the side clutch lever on the side you want to turn to (fig. 10).

Carefully check the area behind the machine when going backward, in order to avoid accidents.

Make sure the load is securely attached to the bed, so that it will not fall during operation.

Never run during operation, but proceed according to your pace, so that you can always maintain

a safe position behind the handles.

Caution when travelling

Avoid using machinery on the pebbly river side, on crushed gravel, steel and logs whenever

possible as it may cause damage of crawler or shorten the lifetime.

HOW TO OPERATE THE UNIT PROPERLY

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

Check the engine oil (fig. 1).

Use engine oil class API SE, SF or higher grade oil SAE 10W-30.

For further information on oil, see the enclosed engine operatorʼs manual.
Use automotive unleaded fresh and clean fuel with a minimum of 85 octanes.

For further information on fuel, see the enclosed engine operatorʼs manual.

Before adding fuel, be sure to turn off the engine. Also, if the engine is hot, be careful not

to spill fuel on it.

During starting and functioning, the operator should constantly remain at his operating

position in the area between the two handles at such a distance that allows him to handle

them both. Leaving this position could lead to loss of control of the vehicle.

1. Open the fuel cock before starting the engine (fig. 2).

2. Close the choke valve by operating the choke lever (fig. 3).

Note: It is not necessary to operate the choke lever when the engine is warm.

3. Put the throttle lever in an intermediary position between L and H (fig. 4).

4. Move the stop switch in operating position (fig. 5).

5. Grip the starter handle and pull vigorously. After the engine starts, immediately but slowly return the

starter handle to its original position (fig. 6).

6. After the engine starts, return the choke lever to its original position (fig. 7).

Note : After the engine starts, do not put a load on it for about 1-2 minutes, instead, let it warm up at

low speed (L).This practice allows oil to get to the various engine parts and lengthens the life of the

engine.
