Heliomolar ® HB
Instructions for Use
Description
Heliomolar HB is a light-curing, radiopaque microfilled
composite specifically designed for the restoration of
posterior teeth. Heliomolar HB cures with light in the
wavelength range of 400–500 nm (blue light). The heavy-
body consistency of Heliomolar HB facilitates the
establishment of properly shaped proximal contact areas.

* Not radiopaque due to the high translucency
Composition
The monomer matrix consists of Bis-GMA, urethane
dimethacrylate and decandiol dimeth-acrylate (22.6 wt%;
(Shades TW, TG: 21.0 wt%)). The fillers are composed of
highly dispersed silicon dioxide, ytterbium tri-fluoride and
copolymers (77.0 wt%; (Shades TW, TG: Fillers are
composed of highly dispersed silicon dioxide and
copolymers (78.6 wt%)). Additional contents are catalysts,
stabilizers, and pigments (0.4 wt%).
The total content of inorganic fillers is 66.7 wt% (Shades
TW, TG: 65.4 wt%) or 46.0 vol% (Shades TW, TG: 44.9
vol%). The particle size ranges from 0.04 to 0.2 µm.
