The shade range of Heliomolar HB includes two transparent
enamel shades which may be used as top layer to further
enhance the esthetic appearance of the final restoration.
* If the exposure time is 40 s, increments of 2.5 mm (A2, A3, B2, C2, GE) and 3.0 mm
(A1, B1, D2, WE, TW, TG,) may be applied.
8. Finishing / Checking the occlusion / Polishing
Remove excess material with suitable finishers (e.g.
Astropol
® F) or fine diamonds after polymerization. Remove
proximal excess with diamond or tungsten carbide finishers
or finishing strips. Check occlusion and articulation and
make appropriate grinding adjustments to prevent
premature contacts or undesired occlusal deflections on the
surface of the restoration. Polish the restoration to a high
gloss by means of silicone polishers (e.g. Astropol P/
Astropol HP, Astrobrush
® ), polishing discs and polishing
strips.
Additional information
1. If necessary, additional Heliomolar HB can be directly
applied to polymerized material. If the Heliomolar HB
restoration has already been polished, it must first be
roughened and wetted with Heliobond before fresh
Heliomolar HB is applied.
2. Heliomolar HB should be applied at room temperature.
Cool material may be difficult to dispense.
Warning
– Avoid contact of unpolymerized Heliomolar HB with the
skin / mucous membrane or eyes. Unpolymerized
Heliomolar HB may cause a slight irritating effect and
may lead to a sensitization against methacrylates.
– Commercial medical gloves do not provide protection
against the sensitizing effect of methacrylates.
Storage
– Do not use Heliomolar HB after the indicated date of
expiration.
– Storage temperature: 2–28 °C (36–82 °F)
– Close syringes and Cavifils immediately after use.
Exposure to light causes premature polymerization.
