Application
– After a dental examination has been carried out and the
duration of the treatment has been determined,
VivaStyle 10% or VivaStyle 16% is administered by the
patient at home as instructed by the dental professional.
– The first application of any tooth whitening cycle should
be performed by dentists or under their supervision,
provided the same level of safety is guaranteed.
Subsequently, the gel must be placed at the disposal of
the patient to complete the bleaching cycle at home.
– Before VivaStyle 10% or VivaStyle 16% is used, the
dental professional should carefully examine the
patient’s medical history, inform the patient about the
application procedure and clean the patient’s teeth
professionally. It is advisable for the dental professional
to monitor the whitening process.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Prior to the application of the VivaStyle gel, thoroughly
brush and floss your teeth.
2. Remove the cap from the tip of the syringe. Place a
small amount of gel toward the facial side of each tooth
in the tray. Use the calibration markings on the syringe
as a guide when dispensing the material. Do not overfill
the gel in the trays. Place the cap back on the
application tip.
3. Place the gel-filled trays over your teeth. Do not squeeze
the tray when you insert it.
4. Use a toothbrush, cotton bud or index finger to remove
excess gel. Do not swallow.
5. Wear the tray as prescribed by your dentist, e.g. for one
hour a day.
6. Remove the tray after the prescribed time.
7. Rinse the mouth thoroughly to remove residual gel. Spit
everything out – do not swallow.
8. Clean the tray with a toothbrush under running water.
Always store the tray in the accompanying tray case.
9. Repeat the treatment with the VivaStyle gel every day if
possible or according to the schedule prescribed by your
dentist.
Notes
– Overfilling the tray does not result in faster or better
results. Instead, it may irritate the gums.
– Do not eat, drink or smoke while wearing the tray.
– Until you have finished the full treatment
– avoid consuming citrus fruits and fruit juices, as they
can promote hypersensitivity;
– avoid, or at least try to minimize, the consumption of
coffee, tea, red wine and colas as well smoking to
prevent the risk of staining the teeth.
– The gel only whitens natural teeth. After the treatment,
the appearance of existing restorations in the front
teeth may no longer match that of the whitened teeth.
Therefore, these restorations may have to be replaced.
– The treatment with VivaStyle 10% or VivaStyle 16%
should be completed at least two weeks prior to the
placement of tooth-coloured restorations.
– The teeth cannot be made to look whiter than their
natural colour.

Warning
Avoid contact of the material with the skin, mucous
membrane and eyes. After accidental contact, rinse the
affected area with copious amounts of water. If contact
with the eyes occurs, immediately rinse with plenty of
water and seek medical advice.
Storage
– Protect VivaStyle syringes from heat and sunlight
– Do not use after the date of expiration
– Store at 2–28 °C / 36–82 °F.
