♦ IP Multicast Filtering Age-out Timer When this timer elapses, the switch itself will try to become the
IGMP host.
♦ IP Multicast Filtering (IGMP Snooping) This setting allows the switch to learn the IGMP spanning tree
and intelligently forward packets (as opposed to broadcasting all packets). IGMP snooping is automatically
enabled/disabled with this setting.
