A waypoint is a location that you mark and store using
the PN-Series GPS. You can also transfer waypoint files
to an SD card in the device. Waypoints are identified by
coordinates, and you can assign a symbol, name, and
other information to them. The Waypoints Page lets you
view a list of the active waypoints on your PN-Series
GPS. Waypoints are active when you:



Open a waypoint file



Mark a new waypoint

To open the Waypoints Page, from any page go to MENU
> Waypoints
. If you have added the Waypoints Page to
the PAGE button order, it is no longer available on menus.
Press the PAGE button until it appears.

Managing Waypoint Files

Waypoints are managed using GPX files with an SD card
in your device; each file can contain up to 1,000 waypoints.

starting on page 66.

Use Find to quickly locate a waypoint in the open waypoint
