and routes currently open.

To restore the default settings
To restore the default settings for all the System options,
from any page go to MENU > Device Setup > System >
Restore Defaults.
Display
Use the Display options to update the device’s color
scheme and backlight settings.
To modify the color scheme
Go to MENU > Device Setup > Display > Color Scheme
and select the color scheme from the drop-down list.
 Spring (green)
 Summer (yellow)
 Autumn (orange)
 Winter (blue)
 Midnight (high contrast—black/gray/dark blue; helpful
for night use)
To automatically turn on the Midnight option at night,
select the Use Midnight at sunset check box.
To modify the backlight intensity
You can adjust the brightness of the screen backlight.
Decrease the intensity to improve battery life.
From any page, go to MENU > Device Setup > Display >
Backlight Intensity.
 To decrease the backlight intensity, move the slider
to the left.
 To increase the intensity, move the slider to the right.
You can also change the backlight setting with the Power
button; see Power on page 5.
To modify the backlight timer
Change how long the backlight remains on before it goes
into power saving mode. Decrease the time interval to
improve battery life.
From any page, go to MENU > Device Setup >
Display > Backlight Timer and select the time interval
from the drop-down list. There are four specific time
options as well as Always On and Always Off options.
