Electrical Connections
Power
CAUTION
IEC connectors are used to supply power to frames and panels alike. The ground
pin of each connector must be connected to a solid ground to ensure proper
grounding of the metalwork.
Equipment is often supplied with a power cord suitable for wiring into a
plug of the user's choice. Please wire the plug using the color code below:

Brown
Live (Line or Phase)

Blue
Neutral (Return)
■
Green/Yellow
Earth (Ground)
WARNING
Some of the frames are fitted with screw terminals so that the CHASSIS and
TECHNICAL ground can be wired to different ground points. The equipment
is shipped with a wire link fitted between these terminals. If the link is
disconnected then it is imperative for personal safety that a proper ground
connection is established.
